Profs. Watson and Daigle Receive Early Career Research Award

Profs. Thomas Watson and Bernie Daigle, Jr., have been selected as recipients of the 2018 Early Career Research Award from the U of M College of Arts and Sciences.

Prof. Watson (left) co-directs the department's Theoretical Computer Science group, while Prof. Daigle (right) is affiliate faculty with the Department of Biology.  They join several other Computer Science faculty who have received the award in recent years, including Profs. Zhuo Lu (2016), Scott Fleming (2015), Lan Wang (2010), and Santosh Kumar (2008).

The Early Career Research Award includes a research stipend of $500 and a plaque, which will be presented at the CAS faculty meeting in August.
