CS Faculty Honored at CAS Meeting

Four CS faculty were recognized at the College of Arts and Sciences faculty meeting on Thursday, Aug. 23.

Thomas Watson Scott Fleming Vinhthuy Phan Dipankar Dasgupta

Prof. Thomas Watson (above left) received the College of Arts and Sciences Early Career Research Award.

Prof. Scott Fleming (above, second from left) received the College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Research Award (CASDRA).

Prof. Vinhthuy Phan (above, second from right) was awarded the Pat Burlison Professorship.

Prof. Dipankar Dasgupta (above right) was awarded the Hill Professorship, a new position created to recognize outstanding research achievement.
