About Dr. Randolph-Frye

Dr. Randolph-Frye is a Research Associate II for the Center for Research in Educational Policy (CREP) at The University of Memphis. She is part of the research team for the Virginia Department of Education’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers, as well as the University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s High School to Health Care (HS2HC) program and the Reimagining Education for Advanced Careers in Healthcare (REACH) program.

Mary received her doctorate in Experimental Psychology (concentration in Social Psychology) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002. She taught psychology courses as both an adjunct instructor and university lecturer and completed two postdoctoral research fellowships, the first at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the second at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. At St. Jude, she conducted research with colleagues on sperm cryopreservation practices and HPV vaccination among childhood cancer survivors, as well as the relationship between posttraumatic stress and posttraumatic growth in long-term childhood cancer survivors.
