Elvis Presley Endowed Scholarship
In 1995, with an initial endowment of $25,000, the EPCF created the Elvis Presley Endowed Scholarship Fund at the College of Communication & Fine Arts at the University of Memphis to assist students majoring in areas that relate to Elvis' own career: music, film, television, theater, etc.
Elvis fan clubs and individual Elvis fans and admirers from around the world continue to contribute to it and Graceland/EPE periodically stages events for its benefit. Donations increase the total endowment principal, which always remains in the scholarship's account the U of M maintains at a local bank. Scholarships are paid out from the interest generated by the account. Donations can be made through the Elvis Presley Charitable Foundation.
Individuals interested in applying for the scholarship should have at least a 2.5 grade point average, be an undergraduate, major in communication or music at The University of Memphis, or intend to major in communication or music.
