Receiving Bachelor of Science

Ashli B. Martin is a Biology major with a double minor in Spanish and Sociology on the path to becoming a Pediatrician. While at the University of Memphis, she has had countless leadership positions including Student Ambassador for TRIO STEM. Through TRIO, she sat as the lead panelist on behalf of the Southern Region of the United States while advocating for the equality of underrepresented college students. Ashli has demonstrated her dedication to her community while volunteering for many organizations including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and through her platform while serving as Miss Black and Gold for the state of Tennessee. Additionally, she has been involved with the Black Student Association, Residence Life, the Honors Program, and her beloved sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Epsilon chapter. As Ashli's undergraduate career comes to a close, her main goal is to ignite motivation in others as she lets her own light shine.
