Chemistry Minor

The minor requires 20 hours in chemistry courses:

• CHEM 1110 & 1111: General Chemistry 1, Lecture and Laboratory
• CHEM 1120 & 1121: General Chemistry 2, Lecture and Laboratory
• Twelve additional semester hours in CHEM courses applicable to the major, including two laboratory courses.

Note: Courses in other majors that include significant chemistry and/or biochemistry content, including BIOL 3073: Genetics Laboratory and BIOM 4110: Science of Medicine, may be substituted for up to 4 hours of CHEM credit toward the Chemistry minor.
