Scheidt Family Music Center

With the completion of the new Scheidt Family Music Center, the School of Music will be able to offer a state-of-the-art facility to serve our students and the surrounding community. The Center will allow the UofM to continue building upon our relationships with other arts programs in Memphis by hosting many other performances on our campus. As the only doctoral degree-granting Music program in Tennessee, the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music sets the standard for music education in the Mid-South. The new Center will be an appropriate showcase for our extraordinary students and will assist us in attracting the highest-caliber talent to our University.

The opening of this facility will provide:
