Bustamante Receives 2024 Leadership Memphis Award

Congratulations to Rene Bustamante, the UofM's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating and Financial Officer, for receiving the 2024 Distinguished Alumnus Award from Leadership Memphis. Each year, Leadership Memphis honors community leaders and businesses who exemplify the true meaning of collective impact.

He is currently the Leadership Memphis Board Chair and is a graduate of the Leadership Memphis Class of 2009. He is also a two-time winner of the Five Star Award at FedEx, and he received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the UofM.
