Joseph Branson is a Data Science Specialist with the Center for Community Research and Evaluation. A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a background in economics, mathematics, and computer science, Joseph specializes in helping community partners gain insights on their activities and impacts using cutting-edge tools such as data visualization, interactive dashboards and maps, web scraping, and automated data cleaning. Before joining CCRE, Joseph worked as a researcher with the Mississippi Office of the State Public Defender, as well as the Center for Advanced Hindsight at Duke University.
