Get Advised
The College of Communication and Fine Arts is deeply committed to fostering an exceptional student experience that emphasizes growth, development, and personalized advising. Through its advising total intake model, the college ensures comprehensive support throughout a student’s academic journey. In their first two years or until they successfully complete professional degree reviews, students are guided by dedicated college-level advisors who provide foundational academic support and help navigate the transition to college life. Upon advancing to their junior year or completing a degree review, students transition to major or concentration-specific faculty advisors. These faculty advisors offer specialized guidance, mentoring students with a focus on their chosen field, cultivating a deeper understanding of their disciplines, and helping them build professional networks essential for career success. This model reflects college’s holistic approach to advising, ensuring that students receive the support they need at every stage to thrive academically and professionally.
