Student Ambassador Program

The Student Ambassador program in the College of Communication and Fine Arts offers an exciting paid opportunity for undergraduate students to contribute to college activities, assist in the Dean's office and play a key role in promoting and recruiting for the college. This program provides a valuable chance to develop leadership and professional skills, build connections, and make a meaningful impact within the CCFA community. Eligibility and Application

Among the activities in which student ambassadors may be involved:

  • Fall and Spring Preview Day (for high school students; 2 Saturdays in the Fall and 2 in the Spring).
  • Assist with New Student Orientation (late May through early August).
  • Discover Your Major Day (for current undecided students; one Thursday in the Fall).
  • University of Memphis Fairs (for high school students; the event is in late March).
  • Assist faculty with visits to area high school programs.
  • Assist in the Dean's office.
  • Other projects and events in the college as the need arises.

Eligibility

  • Must be a student with a declared major in the college.
  • Junior or Senior status preferred (Freshmen and Sophomores may also be considered).
  • Federal work-study students prefered.
  • Must have a major GPA of 3.00 or higher.
  • Must be willing to commit to participating in multiple events and activities throughout the academic year.
