Administrative Topics
Keri Brondo, Interim Associate Dean, coordinates the College's research programs and serves as the College representative on the University Research Council. In this role, she focuses on external funding and research support. She chairs the Professional Development Assignment (PDA), Distinguished Research Award (CASDRA), Early Career Research Award (ECRA), Faculty Research Grant (FRG), and Instrumentation Grant committees. She also serves as the Dean's liaison to the natural sciences departments and handles enrollment management for those departments.

Roger Kreuz, Associate Dean, serves as the Dean's liaison to the social science departments in the College of Arts and Sciences and interdisciplinary programs oriented toward the social sciences. He oversees the Governor's School and the International and Global Studies program. He also chairs the College's Graduate Curriculum Committee and serves as the College representative on the University Graduate Council.

Ladrica Menson-Furr, Assistant Dean, has worked for the Dean's Office as an Assistant Dean for two years. She serves as the Chair of the College of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Curriculum Council and helps facilitate undergraduate curriculum changes through the curriculum process. She also serves on the University Undergraduate Council and is the Chair of the University's General Education Committee. Her home department is English; as such, she is the liaison to the Humanities Departments and interdisciplinary programs such as Women and Gender Studies and AAAS. Ladrica also assists the Dean in undergraduate grade appeals, enrollment analysis, and issues related to undergraduate instruction and advising. Jessica Abernathy, Director of Administration, is responsible for acting for and on behalf of the Dean, serving as a liaison to the department chairs, division directors, administrative personnel, Board of Advisors members, students, etc. She also oversees College faculty and staff recruitment and provides the Dean with information about pertinent laws, regulations and rules. She coordinates the College's Tenure and Promotion process each year and conducts special research projects for the Dean.
Administration Links & Information
Iesha Williams, Administrative Associate I, is responsible for scheduling meetings between the dean and various faculty, chairs and students. This position orders supplies for the office, helps plan events for the college, and works on updating award forms and the college websites. It generates all work orders for telephone service, general maintenance, alarm systems, computer problems, etc. It maintains key inventory for the building. It assists associate deans in all award processes and is in charge of ordering all awards. Iesha Williams, Administrative Associate I Stormey Warren, Administrative Associate II, assists the associate deans and faculty in graduate and undergraduate curriculum, including preparing course revisions, new courses, and catalog changes to be presented to the CAS curriculum councils. She also manages and approves graduate student paperwork, including requests for late adds/withdrawals and overloads. Stormey assists faculty/departments with submitting applications for Graduate Faculty status.
CAS STUDENT EMPLOYEES Katherine Pointer assists the Pre-Professional Advising department with Pre-Law tasks. Her duties include opening and closing the office, covering the front desk, directing visitors, and answering the phones; attending Pre-Law student organization meetings and helping to cultivate a new student group; serving as CAS Pre-Law student ambassador, which requires attending various events such as NSO, Junior Preview Day, etc.; and completing research projects and tasks for the department and the Dean's staff at large. Katherine Pointer – Pre-Law Student Worker Aniya Latrice Tucker is the Social Media and Website Liaison for the CAS. Responsibilities of the position include making 2-4 daily posts on the college's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms, and updating the main college website, E-Files Newsletter, Accolades and several department websites, and other duties as assigned. Latica Jones, Business Officer III, is responsible for administering all issues related to Research Administration and University of Memphis Foundation accounts, including Proposal Summary forms, Advance Account forms, Incentive Pay forms, Foundation Reimbursement forms and training. Her responsibilities also include managing budgets for the CAS Travel Enrichment and College Professorships. She is also the Dean's official designee who authorizes financial transactions on behalf of the College. Latica Jones, Business Officer III |
Carolyn Dickens, Senior Director of Development, provides guidance to the Dean regarding opportunities to enhance and grow the college's financial resources. Working closely with the Dean and Advisory Board, the Director focuses on providing College alumni and friends with the opportunity to connect with and support the College, its students, and its faculty through establishing scholarships, assistantships, and community partnerships. Rika Hood is the Director of Undergraduate Student Services and oversees undergraduate advising, recruitment, and graduation efforts. Each department in the college has specified advisors for its undergraduate majors, and the director provides training, resources, and assessment of each area's advising. The director also works with the graduation analysts to provide information to students and advisors in preparation for and certification of graduation. Rika Hood, Director of Undergraduate Student Services Important Advising Links and Articles Cody Clinton, Director of Pre-Professional Advising, is responsible for advising students interested in health science careers, assisting with applications to health-related professional schools, creating/maintaining programs and services that provide pre-health students with in-depth information about professional school admissions requirements and opportunities to interact with professional school admissions officials and practicing professionals. Cody Clinton, Director of Pre-Professional Advising Meghan Cullen, Pre-Professional Advisor, is responsible for advising students interested in healthcare and law careers and assisting these students with their applications to professional school. The Pre-Professional Advisor is responsible for creating and maintaining programs and services that provide pre-health and pre-law students with in-depth information about professional school admissions requirements and an opportunity to interact with professional school admissions officials and practicing professionals. Ron Serino, Director of Interdisciplinary Programs, leads the budgeting, marketing, advising, scheduling, curriculum development, and planning efforts for the CAS Interdisciplinary Programs, manages College scholarships and awards, and builds relationships with faculty and students. Kira McNeil, Manager of Marketing and Communication, works with CAS departments and administration to develop marketing strategies for the CAS, coordinating social media campaigns, creating photo and video campaigns to promote the College and its programs, research, students, faculty and staff; increasing brand awareness; designing and developing both print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, viewbooks, social media posts, web content; writing copy for press releases; and more.
