About Michelle Cozine
Michelle Cozine joined the University of Memphis in April of 2024 as the assistant director for Campus Recreation at Lambuth. Michelle previously served as Healthy Living Director at the Harrison YMCA in North Carolina, and spent six years as a fitness instructor with the Dallas Metro YMCA.
Michelle worked as the Director of Education for the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce where she wrote several articles on leadership and management, employee development, and employee well-being. She also spent 20 years in secondary education as a psychology instructor, academic advisor and career coach.
Michelle enjoys competing in triathlons and finished the 2021 Ironman. One of her long-term goals is to run a half-marathon in all 50 states. She continues to compete and encourage others to set and go after their goals.
She is married and has three wonderfully exciting children. She and her husband are on a mission to attend a ballgame at all the Major League Baseball parks, hopefully while rooting on their Texas Rangers!
Michelle continues to speak on the benefits of exercise in relation to stress management and mental health.
