Zoe Harrison recipient of Dorothy Arata Award for Outstanding Dissertation

(October 2022) Recent PhD graduate Zoe Harrison has been selected by the University of Memphis Association of Retirees (UMAR) to receive the 2023 Dorothy Arata Award for outstanding dissertation. Her dissertation entitled "Chemical Modification of Biomaterials for Local Delivery of Anti-Biofilm Molecules" describes methods to deliver novel antimicrobials and pain relievers from multiple types of implantable biomaterials.
