Will Randolph, AIA
Will Randolph is an Adjunct Professor of Architecture. He is a passionate designer
who is motivated by socially conscious and dynamic urban development. He has explored
this passion working on the Woodard residence, TN4, Girls Inc., Redeemer Presbyterian
Church, and more recently on two larger multi-family residential developments (Frontline
and Broad Avenue Mixed-Use). Will incorporates sustainability into his projects and
his daily life by biking to work whenever he can. Will is skilled at re-imagining
common building practices and materials, shedding new light on their applications.
He generates simple and affordable design solutions and is passionate about basic
forms, subtle pattern & texture. This passion has influenced Frontline, civitas,
Mama Gaia Crosstown, and Meritan.
Will is a member of the American Institute of Architects, and he serves as a member
on the AIA Memphis Board. He is the co-chair of the 2017 and 2019 AIA Memphis Design
Auction and the 2018 AIA Memphis Design Awards Gala and is a member of the AIA Memphis
Emerging Professional Leadership Class of 2017. Will won the Marvin Windows Traveling
Fellowship in 2013, and, subsequently, traveled to Germany and the Netherlands to
study healthy urban streetscapes. Will earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from
Mississippi State University.
