Andrew Parks

Andrew Parks is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Architecture, a position he has held since 2019.  Andrew previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Architecture from 2006 to 2019.  As Professor of Practice, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses focused on experiential design, visual communication, photography, digital media, and the architectural design process.

He is also an award-winning designer, architectural photographer, and visualization artist at archimania in Memphis, TN.  With over 20 years of experience working on commercial and residential projects at many scales, he specializes in using digital modeling and rendering to develop, test, and bring design ideas to life.  Over the past decade, his passion for the architectural image and visual storytelling has expanded to include photography.  As the in-house photographer at archimania, his images have appeared in dozens of print and online publications including Architecture Magazine, Oxford American, archdaily, and domus.

Andrew holds a professional Master of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and two Bachelors degrees from the University of Memphis.
