The Adult Neurogenic Communication Disorders Laboratory (ANCD) investigates the relationship between neuropsychological function and spoken language behaviors including speech motor control and language characteristics and their perceived speech adequacy secondary to neurodegenerative disease such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Lynda Feenaughty, Ph.D.

Dr. Lynda Feenaughty

Dr. Lynda Feenaughty received her B.S. and M.A. in Communicative Disorders from SUNY Geneseo. She continued on to receive her Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders at the University at Buffalo in 2016. Dr. Feenaughty's research investigates the relationship between neuropsychological function and spoken language behaviors including speech motor control and language characteristics and their perceived speech adequacy secondary to neurodegenerative disease such as Multiple sclerosis (MS).

Michaela McLaughlin, B.A.

Michaela McLaughlin

Michaela received her bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama and is currently enrolled in the master's program in speech language pathology at the University of Memphis. Michaela's academic, clinical and research interests center around adult populations. Michaela also enjoys spending time with her cat and reading narrative-driven social psychology books.
