African Collections

AMUM has an exhibit featuring selections from the collection on view, and exposed art storage allows visitors to delve a little deeper into our collection while enjoying the exhibition.

Africa: Visual Arts of a Continent is a gallery dedicated to the exhibition of tradition-based African Art. The current installation focuses on four culture groups (Dogon, Bamana, Senufo and Marka) and African diaspora thanks to the generous donation of 200 works collected by Martha and Robert Fogelman.
