Major Michael JT Price
Maj Michael Price is currently an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies and Operations Officer for Air Force ROTC Detachment 785, at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. He is responsible for recruiting, educating, training, and developing officer candidates into Air and Space Force commissioned officers through a comprehensive college program comprised of service doctrine, academic instruction, physical fitness and practical leadership experiences.
Maj Price entered the Air Force in February 1998, attending Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base followed by the completion of Medical Laboratory Technician training in May 1999 and Aerospace Physiology Apprentice training in 2007. He was awarded his Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia Southern University in 2011, commissioning via Officer Training School in April, 2012. As an intelligence officer, Maj Price has operated at multiple echelons of command, including staff experience at U.S. European Command, Air Force Space Command, United States Space Force, and Space Operations Command. Over the course of his career, Maj Price’s assignment locations include: Alaska, Texas, California, Colorado, South Dakota, the United Kingdom, and Iraq.
Prior to his current position, Major Price was the Chief of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Resources, assigned to Headquarters Space Operations Command at Peterson Space Force Base, CO.
