Biography
Professor Jeff Nevels was commissioned in the US Navy in 1980 and completed a thirty-year career as a logistics and finance officer. During that time, he earned his MBA at Xavier University, Cincinnati, and his designation as a Certified Public Accountant. Professor Nevels teaches both undergraduate and graduate classes, specializing in managerial accounting and intermediate accounting. He brings a great deal of energy to the classroom and strives to go beyond the numbers to emphasize personal character, integrity, and ethical leadership. He has won several teaching awards including the Eye of the Tiger, George Johnson Fellow, Distinguished Teaching Award, and the Fogelman College of Business and Economics Honors Teacher of the Year.
