What are your future goals?
Enroll at Howard University Law School during Fall 2014. After law school, I plan
to pursue a career in public service/public interest law.
Of what organizations are you a member?
Graduate-level program assistant for B.R.A.V.E. (Bridging Resourcesto Achieve Victories
in Education).
Of what achievement are you most proud?
The research experiences that I have participated in thus far in my career as a student.
These experiences began with becoming a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Research fellow
in college and culminated with the completion of my thesis study this year.

Daniel Larkin, Philosophy
What are you future goals?
To secure a job in Philosophy, a job that would allow me to continue teaching. I honestly
cannot imagine doing anything else.
Of what organizations are you a member?
Member of Phi Beta Kappa, the PGSA (Philosophy Graduate Student Organization), and
a proud member of Tapping Philosophy.
Of what achievement are you most proud?
Most proud of is this award. I live to teach, and so, being recognized for my efforts
is not only an honor, but further validates my own belief that I am doing something
that matters.
Brittany Lott, Chemistry
What are your future goals?
Accepted a tenure-track faculty position teaching Physical Chemistry at Western Carolina
University in Cullowhee, NC, which begins in January 2015. In the meantime, my husband
and I are expecting our first child this July.

Of what achievement are you most proud?
Although I am thankful for the innumerable blessings I have been given, the professional
achievement of which I am most proud is earning my doctorate in chemistry.
