The University of Memphis Association of Retirees (UMAR) is asking for a little “noise”
from current faculty and staff at its annual silent auction and brunch on Dec. 13
from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in Ballrooms B and C of the University Center.
Faculty and staff are invited to take part in bidding on more than 100 items that
include tickets to various events, gift cards, service coupons, parties, toys, books,
U of M items, arts and crafts, Memphis Redbirds passes and home decorating items. There
will be items in all price ranges. A sneak peak will be held from 9 to 9:30 a.m. that
morning with bidding following from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Get your holiday shopping done early during UMAR’s annual silent auction Dec. 13 in
the University Center.
Proceeds from the silent auction benefit UMAR’s Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is
presented each year to the child or grandchild of a current faculty or staff member. UMAR
members hope to endow the scholarship during this centennial year celebration.
Come and bid on these items and help UMAR reach this goal while getting your holiday
