The Emergency Management Program fosters interdisciplinary study among diverse course
offering in Anthropology, Architecture, Communications, Criminal Justice, Earth Sciences,
Public Administration, and Sociology. For more information on the required core and

In addition to EMGT 3100- Seminar in Emergency Management, a required core course,
the program also offers an internship experience, EMGT 4000 - Intership. These courses
are described below.
EMGT 3100 - Seminar in Emergency Mgmt (3)
(Same as ESCI 3100 and PADM 3100). Synthesizing and integrating the various elements of emergency management.
EMGT 4000 - Internship (3)
Experience working with an agency, business, or organization in which knowledge of emergency management can be applied and expanded. PREREQUISITE: permission of instructor. (S/U)
