School of Public Health
Master of Health Administration
Welcome to the Master of Health Administration Program at the University of Memphis!
We are proud to be one of only 83 programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) and the only accredited program in the state of Tennessee. We are excited to be a part of the new School of Public Health at the University of Memphis. Our program is strong and viable with graduates working in health administration all over the country. We have many strategic partnerships with healthcare facilities in the area where our students are able to gain hands-on experience from a health administrative professional.
Our unique Day One program provides our students with valuable leadership development skills which places them in position to compete for positions in the field of health administration. We have a dedicated core group of full-time and adjunct faculty who provide student with competencies that are relevant and practical.
We are implementing an online degree program for those who want a high quality education with the convenience of the online format.  Our on-campus program accomodates both full-time and part-time study.  In May 2016, we will launch an Executive MHA option that blends on-line education with seven weekends on campus over a two year period.
