Students Advocating Service (SAS) is a student organization that provides community service opportunities to the University of Memphis community.  SAS sponsors such programs as Service on Saturday, Tutoring programs, and weekly service initiatives.

SAS membership is free and open to anyone and everyone interested in helping to organize community service opportunities for others.  (You do not have to join SAS to participate in the projects and programs.)  SAS meets every other Monday (with one exception of 2 weeks back to back).  Spring 2014 dates are as follows:
