The University of Memphis awards scholarships based on specific academic criteria. Calculate your potential amounts using our scholarship calculator. Freshman academic scholarships are renewable annually for up to eight (8) semesters based on overall GPA. Transfer academic scholarships are renewable annually based on overall GPA, and the semesters vary. Opportunities for additional scholarships, such as departmental or private scholarships, are available through the Tiger Scholarship Manager, which opens on Nov. 19, for the 2026-27 academic year.

Tennessee residents might be eligible for the HOPE Scholarship

 

To be eligible to receive the HOPE Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria: have a 21/1060 on the ACT/SAT or an unweighted high school GPA of a 3.0, have been a TN resident for at least a year prior to high school graduation, and graduate from an eligible high school.
