In recognition of International Education Week, the University of Memphis’ Study Abroad Office will present its annual Tigers Abroad Photo Contest exhibit Nov. 15-19 in the rotunda of the Ned R. McWherter Library. Twenty-eight photos representing four continents will be on display.

The photos were taken by U of M students while studying abroad during the 2009-10 academic year. They depict scenes in Argentina, Belgium, China, Costa Rica, England, Finland, Italy, Japan, and Spain.

A committee made up of faculty, staff, and students will judge the photos on their artistic merit and on how well they communicate a cross-cultural experience. First-, second- and third-place finishers will receive travel vouchers.

For more information on the contest, contact Erica Christensen by phone at 901-678-5918 or via email at elchrstn@memphis.edu.  To see the exhibit online, visit http://www.memphis.edu/wish/10contest.php.
