U of M Hosts Informational Reception for North Mississippi Students Feb. 5

This event has been cancelled, but will be rescheduled to a later date in February.

The University of Memphis will host a free informational reception Feb. 5 for Mississippi students who live in DeSoto, Marshall, Tate and Tunica counties. The reception will be at the Desoto Civic Center in Southaven from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

U of M President Shirley C. Raines and representatives from the Admissions office will be on hand to provide information about admissions, academic programs, student organizations, residence life, scholarships, financial aid and the Honors Program.

Students in those counties in Mississippi may be eligible to pay the same tuition as Tennessee residents. The tuition program includes undergraduate, graduate and law students, transfer students, and those in online degree programs.
