The Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music will host the University of Memphis Jazz Week,
Feb. 26 – March 1, 2008. The annual concert series, now in its fourth decade, is a
collaborative effort presented by faculty, students and world-class guest artists.

February 26, 2008 University of Memphis Jazz Combos Student groups of the Jazz Division perform a wide range of music from the standards

February 27, 2008 University of Memphis Jazz II Ensemble Directed by Anthony Williams, the group plays repertoire from the history of the jazz

February 28, 2008 Faculty Jazz Players University of Memphis Jazz Division faculty performs repertoire of their own originals
