Undergraduate Philosophy Circle

About

The Philosophy Circle is a registered student organization for undergraduates (of any major) with an interest in philosophy. The "Circle" meets throughout the fall and spring semesters to present guest speakers, host discussions, and organize reading groups. In addition to its regular meetings, the Circle hosts an annual undergraduate conference each spring that coincides with the Midsouth Philosophy Conference.

Philosophy Circle

The Philosophy Circle also provides tutoring in all areas of philosophy, including paper-writing help for philosophical papers. For more information about tutoring and paper-writing, contact Nick Tominello at nftmnllo<at>memphis<dot>edu. Please include your name, what class you are in, your professor, and what area of philosophy you need tutoring in.

If you wish to join the "Circle" contact: Chris O'Neill at cboneill<at>memphis<dot>edu.

Upcoming Events

Have a eudaimonian summer! Tapping Philosophy will continue meeting throughout the summer. If you would like more information about Tapping Philosophy or would like to attend a gathering. Contact Chris O'Neill (cboneill<at>memphis<dot>edu).

Tapping Philosophy is a bimonthly gathering of students who meet in an informal setting (usually a bar, often Tracks) to have pressure-free philosophical and non-philosophical discussions. (The way philosophical discourse should be!)

Annual Undergraduate Conference

In conjunction with the annual Midsouth Philosophy Conference, the annual Midsouth Undergraduate Philosophy Conference will be held Spring 2014.
