A: No. Some students complete their Gen Ed Courses during the summer while they are in nursing school.

*Q: What do I do if I took my prerequisite sciences more than 7 years ago?

A: Prerequisite sciences (A&P I, A&P II, and Microbiology) do have a 7 year expiration date. You will need to repeat A & P II (with lab) and Microbiology (with lab).

A:  Science prerequisite courses may be repeated once; if repeated more than two times, the second grade will be used in the Prerequisite Science GPA calculation. A:  Apply to the University of Memphis and have all your transcripts sent to be evaluated. Once you have been accepted to the University of Memphis, follow the steps for applying to LSON. When you meet with your Academic Adviser, you will be informed which courses have been accepted.
