Research:

Dr Strong’s program of research has focused on the providers’ management of breastfeeding problems. Although Dr. Strong is not currently involved in research, her interests include maintenance, instruction, and design of online learning environments.
 

Teaching:

Dr. Strong serves as the chair of the Technology Integration Committee and sits on the Graduate Curriculum Committee. Dr. Strong is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, Lactation Education and Promotion, Sigma Theta Tau, and the International Lactation Consultant Association.

Honors:

Dr. Strong holds a national Inpatient Labor and Delivery certification by NCC and an International Lactation Consultant certification from IBLCE.

Dr. Strong is married and has two children. She enjoys singing, working with children’s choirs, and gardening.
