|Bioimaging Will be Focus of Symposium Nov. 1-2

Internationally recognized experts will review five areas of bioimaging during the fourth annual Memphis BioImaging Symposium Nov. 1-2 at the Fogelman Executive Conference Center on the University of Memphis campus. Topics will include computed tomography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, molecular imaging and magnetic resonance imaging. There also will be an introduction to the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG).
A pre-conference scientific review session featuring the bioimaging research of four faculty members, as well as student presentations, will take place Nov. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the U of M Engineering Technology Building, located at the corner of Central Avenue and Zach Curlin Street.
The symposium is hosted by the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis BioWorks Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the University of Memphis.
