High school seniors with questions about The University of Memphis can find the answers at Campus Day on Saturday, Oct. 14. Scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will include an information fair, a barbecue lunch and music by Sound Fuzion.
Representatives from University departments and organizations will distribute information on admissions, residence life, scholarships and financial aid, academic programs and student organizations and services. Seniors will hear a presentation about the University, then have a chance to visit the departments in which they are interested. They can finish the day with a walking tour of the campus.
"This a good opportunity to see what The University of Memphis has to offer," said Malinda McDaniel, assistant director for student relations and orientation services. "Students can get information, talk to faculty members, and see the campus first-hand."
Campus Day is open to all high school seniors and their families. There is no cost to attend. Reservations may be made by calling 901-678-2169 or 1-800-669-2678.
