U of M Will Host African-American Recruitment Day Nov. 14

The University of Memphis will host a recruitment event especially for prospective African-American students on Friday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center Faulkner Lounge. The event is open to high school seniors.

University representatives will provide information on academics and the admissions process. Students also will have the opportunity to attend a step show and visit University departments and organizations.

The event is free of charge, but reservations are required. They can be made online at: www.enrollment.memphis.edu/Recruitment/AfricanAm or by phone at 901-678-2169. The deadline for registration is Nov. 7.
