President Shirley Raines Will Speak Jan. 24 in Jackson

Jackson-area residents will have an opportunity to hear Dr. Shirley Raines, president of the University of Memphis, discuss the University when she speaks at a lunch meeting Tuesday, Jan. 24, in Jackson. The meeting will be held at Premier Place, 2644 North Highland Avenue from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost to attend is $15 per person, which includes the meal. The public is invited. The meeting is sponsored by the U of M Alumni Association. Reservations are necessary and must be made no later than Wednesday, Jan. 18 by calling the U of M Alumni Office at 901-678-3119 or 800-678-TRAX (8729).
