Kappa Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), the only national professional fraternity in sales, marketing, and sales management, has been reactivated in the Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department of the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis. Andrew Gall, chapter coordinator for PSE national, conducted chapter orientation and officer training late last week, then presided over the chapter’s initiation ceremony.
PSE was first installed at Georgia State College (now Georgia State University) in 1952. Today there are active chapters at more than 50 colleges and universities, including Auburn, Cincinnati, Purdue, Ohio State, LSU, Texas A&M, Indiana, UNC-Charlotte, and Southern Illinois. In 1966 PSE founded its international marketing honor society, Mu Kappa Tau, which now has more than 11,000 members at more than 90 universities.
Several major corporations have joined PSE as corporate partners, including Target, 3M, Unisys, Ecolab, Schneider National, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Vector Marketing, and Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
