HOUSING

Rooms are available in U of M housing, close to the Music Building.  The rates below are for a private single room with semi-private bath and include tax. To reserve and pay for university housing, please complete the form at http://reslifeweb.memphis.edu/conf/applyonlineind.asp and specify Orff Institute in the section that says "please specify and additional information."

MEALS

Meals may be purchased on campus at the University Center Food Court, three blocks from the Music Building or off campus at numerous restaurants 5 to 10 blocks from the Music Building.

PARKING

A parking pass is included for those who enroll for credit.  Costs are noted below.  To reserve and pay for a parking permit, please download, complete and return this form.­ (pdf).

• For-credit, no housing – included in fees
• For-credit, with dorm housing - $15
• Non-credit, dorm housing - $25
• Non-credit, no housing - $10

WHAT TO BRING

You should plan to wear jeans, comfortable shoes and have a sweater on hand in case the air-conditioning gets too cool.  Also, if you play a stringed, brass or wind instrument and can conveniently bring it with you, please do so.  Bring children’s poetry, melody books and recorders.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS

The last day of courses will end at 4:00 PM.  Please keep this in mind when scheduling return flights.
