The University of Memphis will hold the Works in Progress Symposium (WIPS) on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from noon to 5 p.m. in the University Center (Shelby Room, Bluff Room, and Memphis A & B Rooms). This annual event recognizes the significant contributions to research by U of M undergraduates and allows them to share their work with the larger University community.

This year 33 students will participate in the symposium, which will feature research from a wide variety of fields, including anthropology, biomedical engineering, English, health and sport sciences, political science, psychology, physics, and theatre.
