March 20, 2014 – The University of Memphis will open on Saturday, March 22, to assist
the students of Victory University. U of M staff, along with undergraduate and graduate
advisers, will be available to review transcripts, answer admissions questions and
help students apply to transfer to the University of Memphis.
Victory students can come to the information desk in the lobby of Wilder Tower on
the U of M campus between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to credit transfer evaluators,
representatives will offer information on housing, financial aid and academics.
"It is of the greatest importance that students who have begun their college education
continue to pursue that goal, and the University of Memphis may be an option for some
of these students to remain steadfast and complete their degree," said Steve McKellips,
U of M director of admissions.
Students should bring photo identification and a copy of their transcript. They can
also contact the U of M admissions office at 901-678-2111 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is no charge to attend the event, but there is an application fee of $25.
