“Jazz for the Holidays” will be the theme of radio station WUMR’s radiothon Nov. 28ththrough Dec. 5^th. During the week-long event, listeners and friends of the station can enjoy the music while pledging their fiscal support to the station.

Known as “The Jazz Lover,” WUMR provides the greater Memphis area with contemporary and traditional jazz 24 hours a day. The station operates as part of the University’s College of Communication and Fine Arts, teaching students about the creative, technical, and business sides of radio broadcasting.
