The Tiger Leadership Institute is a program that intends to make long-term leadership education available to any undergraduate student at the University of Memphis.  Three levels of training are offered, with each level having a specific audience and purpose:  

Level I is offered to first-year students only and concentrates on initial involvement steps and college success.

Level II is open to any undergraduate that has completed at least one year at the University of Memphis or previously completed Level I, and its focus is on effective student leadership.  

Level III is only open to Level II graduates, and it looks at applying leadership concepts to a variety of roles after college.

Participation will be limited to a maximum of 25 students for each meeting time.  That means Level III is capped at 25, while Levels I & II will have more students because of multiple cohorts and meeting times.

Participation is to ensure we are offer a high level of training for participants and develop a cohesive, team atmosphere as students complete each level of the program.

Since Levels I & II will offer multiple cohorts during the Fall semester, and please select from one of the time options when applying.

All sessions of the Tiger Leadership Institute meet at the following times:

• Level I   - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm each Tuesday 
• Level I   - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm each Wednesday 
• Level I   - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm each Thursday
• Level II  - 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm each Wednesday
• Level II  - 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm each Thursday
• Level III - 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm each Tuesday (for those who have completed Level II ONLY)

Specific dates of the program will vary by Level and meeting day; however, all groups will begin meeting the week of September 23 and will have a shared graduation ceremony at 12:30 pm on Friday, November 29.
