Why should someone be an Emerging Leader?
This program creates and facilitates a positive community of leaders at the university. Students who participate in the program are given opportunities to network and build relationships with faculty and administration of the university, as well as, leaders in the community through various leadership workshops and events. Above all, the program gives students a wonderful college experience due to the relationships students build with their peers. My college career at the University of Memphis has been so enriched due to my participation in the Emerging Leaders Program.
