Transfer and Adult Student Orientation
Date: Tuesday, August 6
Time: 11:30 am - 5:30 pm
Cost: $20 per student

These sessions are specifically designed for new freshmen 23 years of age and older and all new transfer students. The session fee includes the orientation program, materials, and lunch.

Your orientation program will include informative presentations from administrators and faculty members, small group discussions and a tour of campus. Orientation will afford you opportunities to meet other new students as well as interact with our Orientation Leaders who, as current upperclassmen, can give you first-hand information about the University of Memphis based on their experiences as students.

New transfer and adult students may schedule appointments with their academic advisors as soon as they are admitted to the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus, and appointments should take place prior to attending Orientation. Academic advising is required before registering for courses each semester. After you have met with your advisor, you will be cleared to register on the MyMemphis portal.
