a part of the Instruction and Curriculum Leadership Department (ICL) in the College
of Education, Health and Human Sciences. Below is current information about our Bachelor's

The primary mission of the department is to support the overall mission and goals
of The University of Memphis and The College of Education, Health and Human Sciences

education, instruction, curriculum, and instructional design and technology. These
programs target in-service teacher and pre-service as well as other instructional
curricular leaders, designers, and developers specializing in middle adolescent through
adult level pedagogy and operational domains. The Middle School Division of Instruction
and Curriculum Leadership within The University of Memphis is committed to developing
teachers who are inspired to engage in critical thinking, problem solving, and lifelong
