MEDIEVAL EUROPE.  The Department of History at the University of Memphis seeks an outstanding scholar for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Medieval European History, pending funding availability.  Ph.D. in History required by the time of appointment.  Successful candidates will possess a strong research agenda and good teaching skills.  

Initial review of applications will begin on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, and may continue until the position is filled.  We plan on holding preliminary interviews at the annual meeting of the American Historical Association in New York City, January 2-5, 2015.
