Photographic Tour of the Campus

We think our photographic tour is the best way to get acquainted with the campus. But there are some other ways:

  • The university’s online campus map will show you where all buildings are located and give you a photograph and information about any building on which you click
  • The university’s “virtual tour” slideshow (a flash presentation) shows not only buildings but student activities as well
Photographic Tour of the Campus

Using photographs taken by our former office assistant, Amanda Sanders, and a few supplemental photographs by others, this tour will take a winding path through the campus of The University of Memphis to show you the buildings and other sights along the way.

When you click on the right-pointing arrow in the photographic screens, the photographs will appear in the order that is traced in yellow on the map below. The tour starts at the Information Center on the southwest corner of Central and Patterson (upper left corner of the map) and ends in the lobby of Mitchell Hall, the home of the Department of History.

The screens will also have thumbnail images which will allow you to jump to any particular photograph that you choose.
