The University of Memphis is proud to announce The Governor's School for International
Studies beginning on Saturday, June 1,2013 and ending on Saturday, June 29, 2013.
The Governor's School for International Studies (GSIS) provides a four week immersion
into the world around us, including global cultures, languages and perspectives. Moreover,
the program provides a rigorous introduction to the field of International Studies,
including six credit hours of college coursework.
The University of Memphis is located in the heart of Tennessee's growing international
corporate center on the banks of the Mississippi River - home to Federal Express,
Holiday Inns and Schering-Plough.

nothing but good things to say about his fellow students, professors, RAs and other
staff involved. This will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for him. Thank
