Memphis Innovation Bootcamp
Forward thinking organizations understand the value of innovative employees. However,
developing cutting-edge innovation and design-thinking skills can be challenging.
The FedEx Institute and Fogelman College of Business and Economics are collaborating
with experienced innovation practitioners in our community to launch the Memphis Innovation
Bootcamp (MIB). MIB is based on Stanford Design School's Executive Innovation Bootcamp.
It is a three-day, intensive, hands-on introduction to the latest concepts in design
thinking. Local companies and non-profits now have the opportunity to develop the
most progressive skills within their workforce.
The goals of MIB are:
- To prepare future innovators to be breakthrough thinkers and doers.
- To use design thinking to inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
- To foster radical collaboration.
- To tackle big projects using prototyping to discover new solutions.
MIB will be housed in the FedEx Institute of Technology and offered 3-4 times a year.
