Oral and written communication skills continue to be on the “top five” required skills by employers nationwide.  Although these skills are important, many students are not prepared to meet the communication skill demands of today’s competitive environment.

Strong oral communication skills will build confidence and assist students in preparing for job interviews, class presentations, and overall networking opportunities.

Toastmasters is one of the core requirements for The Complete Professional Program certificate.  To qualify for the certificate, students must complete 5 of the Toastmaster speaking requirements.

The Avron B. Fogelman Professional Development Center hosts Toastmasters clubs geared specifically to students. Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation and is the most efficient, enjoyable, and affordable way of gaining great communication skills. By learning to effectively formulate and express your ideas, you open an entirely new world of possibilities.
Don’t delay!

Become the speaker and leader you want to be--confident, capable, effective, and polished!
